Commissioned by Rostelecom and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, RTLabs has developed mobile app Public Services for Business and updated the Member Area for corporates on the Unified Public Services Portal (EPGU,
Public Services for Business is available to owners of mobile iOS and Android devices and can be accesses via a verified account with the Unified Identification and Authentication System. Individual users of Public Services app can follow a simpler authorization procedure with the PIN code they are already using.
The app shows information about past or upcoming company checks by controlling and supervisory agencies and traffic penalties on company vehicles. Public Services for Business can be used for making appointments or filing applications with prosecution bodies (and monitoring the application status) and for sending notifications on detective or security operations to the Federal National Guard.
Similar opportunities for corporates are offered in the updated Member Area on the Unified Public Services Portal. A completely redesigned user interface features information on the company, its employees, branches, vehicles, the status of services ordered and on controlling and supervisory activities. Upcoming checks details can be browsed in the Member Area or received by email.
The Unified Member Area can now be used for managing personal and business accounts, without having to enter logins and passwords anew every time. Heads of companies can give employees access to their member areas, rights to edit company information or develop applications for public services.
‘As we develop e-government infrastructure, we are setting up new channels to facilitate interaction between businesses and the state. Today we’ve got more than 500,000 businesses and self-employed individuals registered on the Unified Public Services Portal, and this number is growing. We are confident that the new digital service will help create a much more streamlined environment for doing business,’ says Mikhail Bondarenko, Director for E-Government at Rostelecom.
