RTLabs speaks about Digital Government at Baikal Information Forum

The event was attended by government officials and leading Russian IT companies

The Baikal Information Forum (BIF) organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, was held in Ulan-Ude on August 2-3. The Forum participants discussed the development strategy of the ‘Information Society’ national programme and digital technologies. RTLabs participated in the event as Partner.
In the ‘Information Technologies’ section,  a meeting of the Expert Advisory Council of Siberian Accord, the Interregional Association of Economic Cooperation of the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation, was held. Among the key issues discussed by the Council was the regions’ transition to the Digital Economy. Speaking at the meeting, Alexey Fomenko, Director for Regional Development at RTLabs, presented his report “Digital Government of the Region”.
The Forum was also attended by Evgenia Levitskaya, Acting Director of RTLabs Novosibirsk branch, and Project Managers Vladimir Leonov, and Alexander Elizov.
Held for the fourth year running, the Baikal Information Forum has demonstrated not only the latest achievements in the information technology, but, first and foremost, the policy of the state as regards innovative development. The forum covers a wide range of topics – from IT security and building ‘smart cities’ to Digital Government and cloud services.
