RT Labs participates in inter-regional forum Infosibera 2016

18 May

Novosibirsk, 18-19 May 2016

On 18-19 May, Novosibirsk hosted Infosiberia 2016, an inter-regional forum under the auspices of the Governor and Government of the Region of Novosibirsk, the Ministry of Health, the Region’s Department for Informatization and Telecom, the Inter-Regional Association Siberian Concord, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Federal Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of the Russian Ministry of Health. IT in medicine was central to the forum’s agenda.

RT Labs, the lead system integrator for the Rostelecom group of companies, presented their report O7.Medicine: Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow, on the implementation and maintenance of regional IT projects in healthcare for public and corporate customers.

Company solutions help to deliver integrated informatization of regional healthcare and to offer core e-services, including through RMIS (the Regional Medical Information System), to which Rostelecom holds the copyright. RT Labs is the competence centre for the development, implementation and operation of the system components.

‘Taking part in an annual Infosiberia is an opportunity for us to present new IT solutions for medicine, share our product vision with the regions and to learn what experts think about our new projects. In addition, meeting those customers who use our RMIS on a daily basis helps to make an objective quality assessment of Rostelecom and RT Labs services,’ said Sergei Perfiliev, Head of Department for Applied Projects of the Macro-regional Siberian Branch, Rostelecom.

‘Healthcare informatization is a strategically important business for Rostelecom, and that is why RT Labs will continue to build up their expertise in this field. We are happy that this forum coincided with a meaningful event for us as we opened a regional branch of RT Labs in Novosibirsk. One of the key objectives for our competence centre in Siberia’s capital is to develop regional medical information systems. I can say with confidence that at the next Infosiberia we will be able to show new RMIS features for the benefit of our partners and customers,’ said Oleg Hilov, Project Director, RT Labs.
