RT Labs launches an office in the Far East
RT Labs opens its seventh regional branch
The launch of a new competence centre in Vladivostok by RT Labs was timed to the IT Forum Dalinfocom 2016, of which RT Labs is a partner.
This office will engage in developing regional public services portals, computerizing government agencies and provide consultancy services to these agencies. It will also be involved in implementing and maintaining regional transport information systems. RT Labs will arrange and run campaigns to popularize the public services portal and together with Rostelecom it will implement informatization projects for education and medicine.
‘For a company working on a large-scale national project to develop and operate e-government, entering the Far East market will help to deliver on the major integration projects and address the key issues related to IT development in the Far East,’ says Ilya Krasilnikov, Director for IT Penetration and Telecommunication of the Administration of Primorsky Krai.
‘Rostelecom works on a number of projects with RT Labs, on both federal and regional level. Opening a new office in a strategically important region of the country will help to deliver on the government strategy for IT market development and to standardize IT support’, adds Alexei Shchurov, Director for Corporate and Public Markets, Far East Macro-region Branch, Rostelecom.
‘The Far East District is more than 30% of Russian territory, inhabited by less than 5% of the country’s population. This remote region is of paramount strategic importance to this country. Opening a regional office is Vladivostok comes as a logical step given what we do across all Russia. We want to make up-to-date services and products available to all residents in the Far East District. Having hi-tech IT system in multiple sectors of the economy will help to improve the life quality for the people and companies. It opens up new opportunities, helping to develop the region and to improve its investment climate’, says Mikhail Bondarenko, General Director, of RT Labs.
The Far East is the seventh region where RT Labs has opened a regional branch. It has branches in Samara, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. RT Labs’ development strategy aims at opening offices in those regions where Rostelecom has their macro-region branches. The company is based in Moscow.
