Mikhail Bondarenko, Director for E-Government, Rostelecom took part in the panel discussion From e-Government to Digital Government, that covered such topics as e-government development, new user identification methods, outlook for cloud infrastructure, digital documents in public administration, public services promotion and principles of business with commercial entities.
Emphasizing that Russia was leading in e-government development compared to other countries, Mikhail said, ‘In recent years, together with the Telecom Ministry, we have done a great deal to take e-government to a totally new level. We are now sorting it all out, unifying our regional public service portals, and we expect that this regional space will become normalized over the course of this year.’
From year to year, the International IT Forum has expanded its range of topics that now include healthcare, education, culture, public services and many more. This year, it was visited by about 2,700 people from 46 countries and 44 Russian federal entities.
