TIBO 2017, the 24th International Telecommunication, Information and Banking Technologies Forum, held in Minsk on 18-21 April, was attended by over 100 high-tech product manufacturers from 17 countries around the globe.
Rostelecom’s lead system integrator RT Labs made its debut at the event as both exhibitor and speaker. On the very first day, Rostelecom President Mikhail Oseevskiy visited the RT Labs stand to discuss Rostelecom’s participation agenda and the forthcoming presentations on the company’s digital services and products.
The Forum had a plenary discussion on E-Government: Innovative Technologies in Public Administration, at which RT Labs presented their reports on E-Government and Healthcare Informatization.
Denis Hadaskov, Project Director, Business Development Department, RT Labs, discussed the implementation of the Unified Public Services Portal (EPGU) project and the current E-Government development trends. One of the highlights was a case study for the Integrated System for Identification and Authentication (ESIA). For this public information system, launched by the Russian Telecom Ministry, RT Labs acts the lead provider of Rostelecom services for the operation and development of E-Government structure.
Discussing the scalability of Rostelecom solutions for healthcare informatization, Tatiana Skvortsova, Project Director for RT Labs Healthcare, said that ‘the efficiency of IT in healthcare can be enhanced with an integrated approach to computerization. A solution must include software integration services and medical modules alongside a platform for data processing and a set of actions for information security. Such an approach is expected to have a positive impact on the IT landscape of the Belarussian healthcare sector.’
TIBO, an annual event in Belarus, is a platform for sharing recent achievements and best practices in IT. The business agenda of TIBO 2017 included 30 events on digital transformation in the key sectors of the economy and in public administration.
