Rostelecom’s roaming operator offers additional advantages for business

28 October

The 4th Forum on Internal and External E-Document Interchange

The 4th Forum on Internal and External E-Document Interchange, organized by CFO-Russia.ru portal and the CFO Club, took place in Moscow to discuss multiple issues related to arranging and supporting e-document interchange.

Mikhail Bondarenko, Director for E-Government, Rostelecom, took part in a panel discussion on the first day of the event. In his presentation on the project for the Roaming Centre for E-Document Interchange (EDI) Operators, he reminded that with effect from 1 December all EDI operators were expected to launch roaming services for the benefit of their customers. He also warned that one-by-one integration would entail considerable financial and time costs while Roaming Centre’s ecosystem helps to cut servicing rates for customers and reduce the number of connected operators to just one.

The Forum was attended by representatives of the Federal Tax Service, the Association of Electronic Service Systems Developers and Operators (ROSEU), Finance Ministry, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, chief accountants, financial directors, heads of treasuries and controlling departments and financial and accounting professionals.

Rostelecom launched its Roaming Centre for E-Document Interchange Operators on 22 June 2016. The system was designed and developed with a view to methodological and technological recommendations from ROSEU. OOO Aspect was the methodology partner of the project, and RT Labs was the technology partner thereof.

It was previously announced that the Roaming Centre for E-Document Interchange Operators included 23 companies as members. The Centre is the only roaming operator in Russia to carry a GOST R certificate.
