Residents of Ulyanovsk Region began to order 5 times as many electronic government services

In the first quarter of 2019, the number of applications submitted through the Unified Portal of Government Services in Ulyanovsk Region exceeded 2,500. This is 5 times as much as the same value registered in 2018.
Most often, residents use the service of issuing permits for transportation of passengers by taxi - almost 700 applications were submitted during the first three months. Applications for exams for the right to drive self-propelled vehicles, as well as making their inspection сome second and third, while applications for issuance of plans for plots of land and provision of extracts from the archives complete the five most popular services.
Since 2017, Ulyanovsk Region has been a member of the project “Multiregionality of the Unified Portal of Government Services (UPGS), under which twenty priority services of the regional level were transferred to the Unified Portal of Government Services (www.gosuslugi.ru).
“We are working to ensure that our residents could receive public services in a convenient and modern way - on the Unified Portal of Government Services. The statistics we have today convince us that the new possibilities are in demand by residents, and that our work is being done in the right way”, comments Sergey Makarov, Director of the e-government Development Department of Ulyanovsk Region's State Public Institution "Government for Citizens".
“Today more than 50 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participate in the Multiregionality of the UPGS project. Many years of experience and expertise of our Company employees allow us to effectively implement such projects, increasing the level of quality and convenience of provision of public services in electronic form”, said Andrey Kaprenin, Head of JSC RTLabs.
In 2018, the share of citizens using government and municipal services in electronic form in Ulyanovsk Region reached 72.5%. Pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 601 of May 7, 2012, the relative target value was 70%.
The “UPGS Multiregionality” project is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media. Technological support is provided by PJSC "Rostelecom" along with JSC RTLabs.
