Public Services m-app wins international award in Dubai

The application has won the sixth annual International Best m-Government Service Award

Public Services mobile application became the winner of the sixth annual international Best m-Government Service Award for the Accessible Government category. The Russian project was represented at the award ceremony by a delegation led by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media Mikhail Mamonov.
The ceremony took place in Dubai (UAE) as part of the World Government Summit. UAE Deputy Prime Minister Mansur ibn Zayed Al Nahyan awarded the winners.
The award was established by the UAE government in 2014. This year, the award included seven categories: Public Private Partnership, Accessible Government, Gamification, Innovative Service, Harnessing Emerging Technology, Data-Driven Applications, Public Empowerment.
Mobile applications of public authorities that offer users a wide range of services built on a single centralized platform, as well as integrated services based on the “smart” coordination – including by “smart” data exchange – of a number of governmental agencies were presented In the Accessible Government category. The award is aimed to encourage public authorities to develop innovative solutions using mobile applications that provide 24/7 access to simple, efficient and crystal clear public services. This will help meet the needs of citizens and improve the quality of life.
Public Services m-app is nominated for the Best m-Government Service Award for the second time. In 2017, the application hit the top three international mobile apps.
