A service to help Russians with return to their homeland is available on the Public Services Portal

A service has been launched on the Public Services Portal for Russians who need help with return home from abroad in connection with the spread of coronavirus.
Through the portal, users can apply for assistance in arranging their return to the homeland. This information as well as contact details of applicants will be transmitted online to consular offices of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Our citizens, wherever they are, in the country or abroad, always know: Russia does not leave its people alone. For the government, the Public Services Portal is a mighty modern technological tool to help and support fellow citizens. Such assistance is particularly in demand at this difficult time", commented Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
“The Public Services Portal is a convenient and reliable tool of prompt interaction with the government, among other persons, for citizens staying outside the country,” said Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
The Single Portal has a separate thematic section with information on coronavirus: symptoms, updated information on the spread of the disease, necessary phone numbers and instructions. There is also a catalog of online services offered by leading providers, that made those services free for Russians in lockdown.
