Mobile voters can find their polling stations on the map

24 August

The service currently available for residents of Moscow will be extended to other regions soon

The search of a convenient polling station is implemented on the basis of Yandex Maps, a Russian web mapping facility. The service, now available for residents of Moscow, will be extended soon to cover other regions, where regional and federal elections will be held on September 9, 2018.
Once a convenient polling station has been selected in Yandex Maps, the user can go to the Unified Public Services Portal ( and to file an e-application to be included in the voters list at the chosen location.
The Mobile Voter service is available to the verified users aged 18 as of the date of voting, who had not filed such applications before (applications may not be submitted more than once within the election campaign). The applications for the selection of polling station will be submitted to the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation. Once the application is processed, a confirmation form with information about the selected polling station will be delivered to the Personal Cabinet on the portal. The form can be printed out or downloaded into the mobile device. E-applications from Russian citizens wishing to be included in the voters lists at their current locations may be submitted at the Unified Public Services Portal or in the Gosuslugi mobile app no later than September 5, 2018.
The Mobile Voter project commissioned by the RF Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation is implemented by RTLabs, Rostelecom’s key technology partner in charge of the e-government development and operation.
