Over 100 thousand Russians become “Mobile voters”

About 60% of applications were submitted online through the Unified Public Services portal and mobile application

To participate in the regional and federal elections on September 9, 2018, residents of 37 constituent entities of the Russian Federation can choose a convenient polling station in their region (electoral district).
To be added to the voters list at a current physical location, applicants can use the Unified Public Services Portal (gosuslugi.ru), the Gosuslugi mobile application or personally visit the territorial electoral commissions (and starting from August 29 – district polling station commissions), as well as the multi-function centres for provision of public and municipal services (MFC).
Since the service launch on 25 July 2018, more than 100 thousand citizens have become “mobile voters”. About 60% of applications were submitted online through the Unified Public Services portal and mobile application, with the frequency of use of mobile devices increasing significantly to exceed one third of the total number of applications.
To apply remotely, a voter has to log in to the Unified Public Services Portal from a confirmed client account, specify the registered address and sel ect a polling station of choice.
Once the application is processed, a confirmation and a printable part of the application with information about the selected polling station will be delivered to the Personal Cabinet. If the application was submitted at MFC, district polling station commissions or territorial electoral commissions, the Portal user will be notified respectively.
Among the most active users of the Mobile Voter service are residents of Moscow and Moscow region, regions of Samara, Rostov, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo, and Krasnodar, Primorsky, Khabarovsk and Altai Territories.
The applications can be submitted and convenient polling station selected at the Public Services Portal within the period fr om July 25 to September 5, 2018, inclusive.
In the single voting day, on September 9, you should bring your RF passport and a hard copy of the printable part of the application or its electronic version on your mobile device.
